At Tour Africa, our photo safaris are built from the ground up for photographers — from the vehicles we use to the hours we keep. We position you at the right sighting, in the right light, with the time to wait for the moment that makes the image.
Our photographic guides understand animal behaviour and camera craft in equal measure. They anticipate a cheetah’s sprint before it happens, angle the vehicle for clean backgrounds, and know every waterhole and river crossing where the drama unfolds — across the Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Samburu, and beyond into Tanzania and Uganda.

Iconic Photographic Destinations
The Maasai Mara delivers big cats and the Great Migration river crossings between July and October. Amboseli gives you elephant herds beneath Mount Kilimanjaro — one of Africa’s most photographed backdrops. Samburu offers rare northern species like the reticulated giraffe and Grevy’s zebra, while Lake Nakuru and Lake Bogoria paint the frame pink with flamingos.

Whether you shoot with a smartphone or a 600mm prime, our guides meet you at your level. Beginners get hands-on coaching with settings and composition; experienced photographers get a guide who speaks their language and a vehicle positioned exactly where they need it. Non-photographing partners are always welcome — the sightings are spectacular either way.
