Chobe Game Lodge

Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent safari lodge located within Chobe National Park, positioned directly on the banks of the Chobe River with views across to the Namibian floodplains. The lodge hosted Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton and maintains an air of timeless elegance.

The 47 rooms and suites feature river-facing terraces, marble bathrooms, and classic décor. Four luxury suites offer extra space and private plunge pools. The lodge’s riverside pool, spa, and sunset deck create a refined safari atmosphere.

Activities include boat cruises along the Chobe River (famous for massive elephant herds coming to drink), game drives in the park, and fishing excursions. The lodge is one of the first in Botswana to operate electric safari vehicles.
