Oddballs’ Enclave

Oddballs’ Enclave is a legendary backpacker-friendly camp on an island in the heart of the Okavango Delta, accessible only by mokoro or boat. The camp has been welcoming budget-conscious travellers since 1987, offering an authentic delta experience at a fraction of luxury camp prices.

Accommodation is in raised dome tents on wooden platforms with shared ablution facilities, or in upgraded Meru tents with en-suite bathrooms. The communal bar and dining area overlooks the floodplains.

Activities include mokoro trips through papyrus channels, guided bush walks, fishing, and bird watching. The camp’s unfenced location means wildlife wanders freely through camp — elephants, hippos, and hyenas are frequent visitors.
