Rekero Camp

Rekero Camp occupies one of the most coveted locations in the Masai Mara — the confluence of the Talek and Mara rivers, right at the heart of the Great Migration crossing zone. The camp’s position means that during migration season, guests can witness dramatic river crossings practically from their tents.

Nine airy safari tents sit beneath a grove of fig and warburgia trees, each with en-suite bathrooms, flush toilets, and solar-heated showers. Front-facing daybeds on each veranda are perfect for watching hippos, crocodiles, and elephants in the river below. The main lounge and dining area are open-sided with views across the plains.

Year-round, the area supports exceptional predator density, with lion prides, leopards, and cheetahs regularly seen. Game drives are led by experienced Maasai guides with an intimate knowledge of the terrain. Walking safaris in the Naboisho Conservancy are also available.
