Table Mountain is one of the New7Wonders of Nature and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, forming the backdrop to one of the world’s most beautiful cities, Cape Town. The park encompasses Table Mountain, the Cape of Good Hope, and the Boulders Beach penguin colony.
The mountain is home to the Cape Floral Kingdom, the smallest and richest of the world’s six floral kingdoms, with over 2,200 species of plants, many found nowhere else on Earth. Visitors can reach the summit via cable car or numerous hiking trails.
