Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park is one of Africa’s largest game reserves, covering nearly 20,000 square kilometres in northeastern South Africa. Established in 1898, it is one of the oldest and most well-managed national parks on the continent.

The park is home to an impressive diversity of wildlife: 147 mammal species, 507 bird species, 114 reptile species, and 49 fish species. All Big Five animals can be found here. Kruger is unique among African parks in offering excellent self-drive safari options alongside guided game drives.

Accommodation ranges from affordable rest camps with self-catering chalets to exclusive private lodges in the adjoining Sabi Sands and Timbavati private reserves.
