Samburu Intrepids Camp, managed by Heritage Hotels, is a luxury tented camp set on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro River within the Samburu National Reserve. The camp’s 28 spacious tents are raised on wooden platforms with thatched roofs, offering a blend of safari adventure and creature comforts.
Each tent features four-poster beds draped in mosquito netting, modern bathrooms with hot water, and private verandas overlooking the river. Hippos and crocodiles are frequently seen from the camp, while elephants and buffalo visit the riverbank regularly.
