Mara Plains Camp

Mara Plains Camp is a member of the exclusive Great Plains Conservation group, set within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy in the northern Masai Mara. With just 7 spacious tented suites, the camp offers one of the most intimate safari experiences in the ecosystem.

Each tent blends 1920s canvas-and-brass aesthetics with modern luxury — copper bathtubs, Persian carpets, and king-size beds sit alongside solar power and eco-friendly water systems. The camp’s commitment to conservation is reflected in its partnership with the local Maasai community and its contribution to anti-poaching patrols.

The Olare Motorogi Conservancy is known for its exceptional density of big cats, particularly leopards and cheetahs. With strict vehicle limits and exclusive traversing rights, game drives at Mara Plains feel like a private safari. Walking safaris, night drives, and bush meals add variety to the itinerary.
